Kingston is too far away! Try Cortlandt Manor, Cold Spring, Garrison,
Buchanan, Verplank, Montrose..just to name a FEW....Cold Spring is mt favorite of all of them. Good luck!

Cortlandt Manor is the next town over
Cold Spring about five miles north on Route 9D
Garrison is next town after Cortlandt Manor
Buchanan is about 2 mile south on Route9
Verplank is the next town south from Buchanan
Montrose the next town south of Verplank
BTW NYC accessible by Metro North (Hudson Line)which stops in almost all the towns. Good luck!

Here's one more: Alexander Hamilton House in Croton (just south of Peekskill) (914-271-6737).

I agree with the town of Cold Spring. The Pighill Inn is a great choice. Right in the middle of town and everything is right there! Metro North does stop there and one of my favorite restaurants is the Depot. Great food and great times! Have fun!

Cold Spring is about 13 miles north of Peekskill. The other towns mentioned are closer. If you have a car Cold Spring to Peekskill will take about 25 minutes.
