Pearl Harbor no bag policy

I understand there is a no bag policy at Pearl Harbor but I thought I read somewhere that its OK to have a see through, clear plastic "purse". Does anyone know if that is true? Were planning on an 11 hour tour and I cant imagine being without my purse all day. If I cant bring any type of bag Ill probably just bring my picture ID and my cell phone. My hubby will have his wallet so he can just buy everything as I probably wont bring cash or credit card if I can't bring my purse. I just don't like carrying money or credit cards in my pockets, I'm afraid it will fall out. Thanks.

I was there in January and I did notice a few people with clear bags as well as a lot of people, we were among them, who had to walk back to their cars to return their bags. Plan to wear items with pockets and perhaps bring a mini-wallet. Once you are on site - you forgot you do not have a purse or bag. I had deep pockets and was able to bring a wallet, my phone, a packet of kleenex and I was fine for the 4 hours I was there.

There is also a station where one can check their bags if they do not want to leave them in the car. Just plan ahead.

While bags are not allowed, there is a bag check. So you don't have to be without your belongings all day. And you can carry your wallet, cell phone, and camera with you on the tours.
