Kim~ have you been to the bbq place(comical name) on the other side of the overpass? It has the mechanical bull and some great drinks. My family stopped there in March on our way north. J.

I 2nd the rec for Buona Tavola and also recommend Bistro Laurent. Jetset, which BBQ place to do you mean? McClintocks? That is farther south. I was trying to think of the place you refer to.

Big Bubba's Bad BBQ.. we had a lunch there. I would opt for Italian at dinner too and hope to get the chance again. J.

laurenzo~ everything is huge portions there, so be warned. My own three family members looked like walking stilts with basketball stomachs when we left.. the salads are triple size!

No, but I LOVED Hoover's in Templeton for breakfast. Is it still there?

I've heard good things about Villa Creek. Haven't been to that BBQ place. There is a nice restaurant called Deborah's at the Justin Vineyards I would like to try sometime, maybe this Fall. ***kim***

Husband and I had dinner at McPhee's in June this year. We both enjoyed our meals ... I recall being too full to finish.

A pretty room (the back of the restaurant).
