Pasadena New Years Eve suggestion?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a restaurant for New Years Eve - we will be celebrating a special birthday, and want a nice restaurant but don't want to spend a fortune either - maybe in the range of $50 per person? Thanks!

You may want to check out Bistro 45. www.bistro45.com or Firefly Bistro, www.eatatfirefly.com Both have received very good reviews lately. Have fun!! ***kim***

Beckhams is nice for prime rib. Also, you might do a "pasadena" web search for ideas. Please note, as you are probably aware, New's Years Eve in Pasadena is a sold-out affair, book anything well in advance. There are many fine restruants in Old Town Pasadena, but the crowds of people will be overwhelming. As a Pasadena resident we avoid Colorado Blvd. that evening.

Parkway Grill would be a great choice. It is festive and fun, elegant but not overly formal. The food is excellent. And it is away from the hubbub on Colorado Boulevard, yet very convenient.

Other good choices not right near Colorado Boulevard include Bistro 45, Smitty's, Celestino, and Derek's.

Old Town Pasadena also has a wonderful Il Fornaio. Great Italian food!

We love Old Town Pasadena and eat there every chance we get when we go to the Southland.

There's also a wonderful South American grill place on the same side as Il Fornaio on Colorado (sorry forgot its name!).
