Pasadena area restaurant for New Year's Eve

Please suggest a dining establishment for New Year's Eve that will not be a rip off. We are willing to dine early and prefer a regular menu to a set menu.

What type of food are you looking for? Price range?

Market City Cafe is a good choice for Italian food.

Crocodile Cafe is casual, but offers good food for the money.

Both of those are good suggestions if you don't want a fixed, expensive meal. Is this going to be a group outing? How many people? Age range? Old Town Pasadena has so many great restaurants that we need more info to make a more educated suggestion for you.

I was there last month for business and we ate at the Cheesecake Factory and Louise's. Both are chain restaurants, but good food and wide menu choices at reasonable prices. The cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory was on the high end, but worth every penny!

We like the Twin Palms on W. Green, a block off Colorado, but it's a live music/swing dancing sort of place and I'd be surprised if they don't have a set menu for NYE. But you can always phone and see. http://www.twin-palms.com

Twin Palms is a nice place, but does have a set menu on New Year's Eve. The other suggestions would serve for an enjoyable meal at a reasonable price.
