Parking facilities - Newark (NJ)airport

Please recommend a secure parking facility at Newark (NJ) Airport where I may leave my car for ten days.

We always park at the Airport Hilton. Covered parking and $12.00 a day -- shuttle to/from the airport. You can probably find a less expensive one, but we've always been very happy leaving our car here for the past 7 years.

We usually park at park2go on Rt.1. You park there, they take you right away to the airport in a van. Costs $10/day plus tip to van driver. When you come back, you call and they pick you up. <park2go.com>

Do not...I repeat DO NOT park at Park 2 Go. I returned from 2 weeks away (Saturday),the attendant could not find my keys or my ticket and the car was missing. I spent $200 taxi cab ride home and turned in a police report. Magically on Monday when the owner was present, his checking found the car at an impound lot in next town Irvington. Also, magically, the keys and receipt were found. The owner knew I had turned in an insurance claim and asked if I wanted the car found???? Initially I did not understand the question. And then it dawned on me that he was giving me the choice of cheating the insurance company or not.
It cost me $ 600.00 to get the car released (towing and storage). I may also be facing a fine of parking in a handicapped zone. Of course I will be able to take a day from work and drive one hour to Irvington, NJ to prove in a court of law that I was no where near NJ when the car was towed. This is a sleezy operation and highly recommend against anyone parking their car there. PS The owner has promised to reimburse me. We shall see.

I've stayed at Budman's Airport Hilton. They had regularly scheduled shuttles to Newark Penn Station too ... just in case Joela is leaving car at EWR to go into the City.

The Airport Hilton has since raised their rates to $15 a day, but I still find it a bargain since it's in a covered garage. I arrived back twice to snow storms, and it was nice not to have to scrape.

We've always like Avistar. Good quick service and never a security issue. I prefer the Haynes location.

www.avistarparking.com There are some coupons on the website.

We always parked in a long term parking with shuttles to/from the airport. Never had any problem and all you have to do, once you decide to park there, is to follow the signs. The most important, you have to remember in what parking lot you are parked as there are different shuttles for those lots. I think the last time we parked it was $8.00 per day

We always use the Yellow Bee. Sorry, I don't know the exact name, but they have a coupon always on line and then a free car was after your trip.(If you are not jet lagged!)
