Park and Ride to Chicago Loop?

We plan to spend Saturday night in a Loop area hotel, driving up 90/290 from St. Louis. Is there a park N ride lot where you can catch public transport?

I believe that on weekends you can park for free at the Rosemont Blue Line station (just east of O'Hare airport) and take the train downtown. The Blue Line runs 24/7.

AFAIK, the CTA parking are not free. In fact it's ~$10-15 for 24 hours.

Why not consider Amtrak or Megabus from St. Louis. www.megabus.com is ~$20 per person each way downtown to downtown. It takes ~5 hours. Same for Amtrak. Saves on gas, parking, frustration.

Yes, we've always taken megabus or amtrak in the past and are big public transport fans.

Megabus for next weekend would be $160 for us 4, Amtrak more than twice that. This once we plan to drive, but avoid the congested area if possible.
