Hi phlebo3. Definitely the view you want is of the Bellagio fountains (I'm sorry, can't remember the specific rooms I've stayed in -- just that they were high up and facing the Bellagio.) And have only eaten there for breakfast, but loved the Paris Buffet (also had a good bday dinner at Mon Ami Gabi - sat outside to get fountain view again.) Also, have you read the responses to your other posts? I believe there were a few tips there for you as well. In case you don't know, if you click on your name (either in your message or at the upper-left hand corner of the screen), and it will bring up all your previous posts. Congratulations on your anniversary and have a great time in Vegas!

The rooms at Paris LV are very nice, smaller but very nice. I agree with the recommendation to get a room facing the fountains - it's terrific to sit at the window and watch. The casino is not that great but the Alladin next door has a good casino and also has very good gambling classes (such as craps); also, Paris is connected via tunnel to Balley's casino. The steak restaurant at Paris is good as well as the cafe. Pool is beautiful and service (especially the consierge desk) is wonderful. Enjoy.

We've stayed at Bally's but spent most of our non-gambling time at Paris. We enjoyed their dinner buffet, and got a two for one promotion they were offering at the time. Well worth it at full price. They also have some lovely shops with some not so usual items (I especially like the French children's shop, can't remember the name). And their pastry cafe is very good, with pastries comparable to Paris, France.

I think you'll like it very much. Have a good time.

Request a "P" room at check-in. It won't cost any more. They are the corners and are bigger and have views on 2 sides.

Definitely request a corner room, you get twice the view and they are bigger. When they wouldn't upgrade us for free, he offered a corner room. Was very happy with that!

Another vote for the "P" room! Got it last time without asking and just loved it! The windows don't open but there are little vents that will let the Bellagio fountain music in if you open them.

I love the casino here, not sure why one wouldn't unless of course you left some green on the tables or in the slots.

The breakfast buffet is outstanding, set aside 2 hours or so to really relish!

Do the eiffel tower at sunset if you can or at least in the dark. Well worth it.

Mon Ami Gabi is great but be aware that they don't take reservations for the patio outside, as it's a first come first served basis. The lines were soo long last week, we couldn't get near it, but because I'd been before, I wasn't too disappointed.
