Pancakes/breakfast around Carmel

I remember reading about somewhere with great berry
Pancakes, and good breakfast overall, but now can't find it. We're in Carmel but of course can go to Monterey or PG. Any thoughts?

Katy's Place on Mission in Carmel serves a great breakfast, very generous servings. First Awakenings at the American Tin Cannery in PG, near the Aquarium is also great. We like sitting outside next to the fire pit while eating there. I'm not sure if either is the place you're looking for, but these are two popular breakfast spots.

Calfornia Grill in the Carmel Highlands Hyatt has good breakfast and a GREAT view. The restaurant has large windows overlooking the cliffs and rocky coast. There is a wood fireplace inside or you can eat outside under a heat lamp. It is pricy but last month they had a coupon in restaurant.com. My husband and kids raved over the waffles. I liked my french toast, but loved the view.

The restaurant on the ground floor of the Intercontinental Clement in Monterey serves a fabulous breakfast. Great view on the water - you can watch the sea otters and sea lions.
