Palm Springs - good place for less than $150/night?

We're looking to stay there next month - any good recommendations that aren't sky-high during peak season right now?

We want to pay $150 or less, but want something nice - I've seen Pepper Tree Inn and Cala Lilly Inn. Anyone have experience at either?

DATES, DATES, DATES!!!!!!!!
Mid week rates are different than weekend rates. If people would include DATES we could give you real information.
I assure you no one will stalk you. It's safe to give these critical details.

Hello Simone.

Can you clarify--are you set on Palm Springs or would you consider Palm Desert, La Quinta, etc.?

It is a challenge given the time of year, but there are some 'sleeper' properties that are decent that you may be able to get around that rate.

Try L'Horizon on Palm Cny drive, you should be able to get this room for less, great, clean place. Won't be disappointed. I'd pass on the PepperTree as it's very run down. I also heard that the Hilton Gardens on hwy 111, was nice.

If you are going mid-week try the Lodge who has a special online for $96 per nite(only certain nights until June), plus resort fee &taxes.
