Pa'ia
Could someone help me with the driving time between Wailea and Pa'ia? I'm sure there is a time to avoid travel between the two. Would you also know what night the Hula Honeygirls perform at the Moana Cafe? Thanks for your help!!

If you have time to spare (and it sounds like maybe not) as you cut across the island turn right up Haleakala on one of the smaller roads on your map (through the cane fields) and through Makawao. It is a great trip. The road back down the volcano then drops you near Pa'ia past the airport if I recall correctly.
At rush hour it's possible it could be faster to go this route as there will only be locals on the road. I'd leave an hour and fifteen, I guess.

The Wailea area is very convenient to Paia, Makawao, and Upcountry. We made a nice half day out of shopping in Paia and Makawao (where we also had a great lunch at Casanova's) - and also hit the Kahului Swap Meet, drove Olinda Road, AND made a short stop at Iao Valley. All of these are much more convenient to Wailea than the Ka'anapali area. Didn't run into significant traffic heading out about 9 am or returning about 3 pm.
