Over 70 & loving it!
My parents and a group of others would like to go to San Francisco and then fly to Hawaii for a cruise. They've asked me to see if I can get some information regarding this itinerary. I know this is quite vague, but they want to know what the best time of year is to go and what ship they should go on. Any assistance, even if you can point me in the direction of a travel agent would be greatly appreciated. They are a group of 5 couples. Thanks

If you've got spare time, you could indeed take care of all their travel reservations and such online.
But a travel agent could also do this for you -- without stressing you with the particulars s/he will encounter along the way.
Get a reputable (member of ASTA) travel agent, and let the fun begin! 8-)

I rarely use travel agents, but you might want to try Virtuoso. I've been in contact with them regarding hotel reservations for a future trip I am planning and I've been pleased with the response so far. virtuoso.com

They are all travelling from New York (JFK). From Hawaii they would be travelling directly to New York. I will try Virtuoso as you suggested. I've found out that they want to island hop (Oahu, Maui etc). Thanks for your suggestions.
