Outlet mall in Barstow

Could anyone give me some information , or perhaps a web page on the Outlet mall in Barstow on the way to Las Vegas from LAX.
I have heard that it has excellent prices and a great range.
Thank you in anticipation

Greetings -

Like all outlet malls, some of the places have good deals and some don't. It's worth a stop if you like to shop but much better than this is Ontario Mills.

If you go out the 10 from L.A. you will pass right by Ontario Mills. It is at the junction of 10 and 15 which goes to Vegas. This place is a huge shopping complex including the following:

All types of outlets including Saks Off 5th, Mikasa, and a high-end section called Off Rodeo Drive.

For food:

Wolfgang Pucks, Rainforest Cafe, Wilderness Restaurant, Dave & Busters, New York Grille, other misc. restaurants and a food court with mexican food, pizza, hot dogs, bagels, cheesecake, and cinnamon rolls (yum!), etc., etc.

And lastly -

22 Edwards Cinemas, 3-D IMAX, and an AMC theater.

Are you worn out yet?

You can spend all day in this place and the 1/4 mile surrounding it.

Happy Shopping and Eating

What do you want to know? We have been there a few times. It is right along I-15 just as you approach Barstow from the south. It is fairly decent but there are better ones. I far prefer the outlet Mall in Gilroy, CA and the one in Milpitas. Of course those are a little out of your way. My point is that there are tons of outlet malls everywhere now. The one in Barstow has been there for quite a while before they started to proliferate across the country.

If outlet malls are your bag than Barstow is better than some and not as good as others. Personally I would just keep on going. Why waste your valuable time in a bunch of stores when you can spend it in Las Vegas.

Thank you for your responses and views. To clarify, we are coming from Sydney, Australia and your shopping especially outlets is a real treat - cheaper and heaps more variety than here. We will definately be doing some outlet mall shopping , but the question was to do it in Barstow on the way to Vegas or at vegas itself, there are a couple of places there. I doblt we will have time in LAX,as we will be very busy with all the usual sightseeing, Disney etc. Thanks again, any other views ??

Now that I understand your situation, I would strongly recommend stopping at the outlet mall in Barstow. It is very handy and is definitely better than anything you will find in Las Vegas.

Good luck on your trip and win big in Las Vegas

I'm also from Australia and went to LA twice last year. The first time we drove from LAX to Las Vegas and we stopped at Barstow for the outlets. They were fine if you only have a limited amount of time to spend.
The second time I went To LA we went to Ontario Mills which can be done as a day tour from Anaheim or LA.
I would suggest that if you're serious about spending time at outlets DEFINITELY go to Ontario Mills and make a day of it..my mum and I spent 12 hours there with no trouble at all!!(there is accomodation there if you want to stay on the way to Vegas.) Other than that the Barstow outelts are just a smaller version...
Have fun!
