Outer banks home to rent
Hello I am looking for a house for 5 couples no kids. On the Outer Banks - oceanfront or at least 2nd or 3rd row. Important to us: 5 beds that are either king queen or double. Dining table for 10. Not where 4 wheel drive is required.
would love pool. Hot tub, grill, beach equipment- but can live without any of these.
June 13 week in 2020. Would love to stay under $5,000 for the week, but would consider higher rental. We don’t need luxury.
i know I have looked at many on VRBO but thought if anyone knows a specific home they have rented you could recommend.
also, would consider any lesser known beach along NC or SC coast-will consider. Maybe Fripp Island, etc
thanks for your help.

You could look at Litchfield by the Sea. While seemingly close to Myrtle it is a gated community and the beach is very private and uncrowded even on a high holiday like the 4th (example). LOts to do in the area and the best seafood outside of Charleston on the SE coast.

Look at an agency such as Carolina Designs on the Outer Banks which specializes in larger homes. For a family reunion we rented one of their 12-bedroom/12 bathroom places which is oceanfront in Nags Head with a pool, Couldn't have been happier. Good luck with this; there are a LOT of agencies on the OBX and a lot to see and do.

Duck NC would fit your needs except the price range. Any of the agencies would work. The house we stayed in (oceanfront) had five bedrooms each with its own bath and also had a theater room with fancy seating which kept the kids busy. We stayed in the spring around Easter week and I think it will cost quite a bit more in June.
