Outdoor Dining in Las Vegas

Does anyone have any recommendations for outdoor dining, on or off the strip?

Lu don't think I have ever seen a cafe or restaurant with outdoor dinning, it is just TOO HOT there most of the year, and outdoor dinning is to enjoy the scenery and people watching, and on the strip the hotels are really spread out and I don't remember a hotel with windows even on the street, most of the hotels are set far back from the main drag.

Come to NYC for some nice restaurants with outside or garden dinning. (lol)

But have a fun trip to LV.

I was in Las Vegas this last weekend. Although it was very hot, Paris offers outdoor dining at Mon Ami Gabi. Our table was just inside the cafe, with a gorgeous view of the Bellagio fountains. We didn't ask for this table when we made our reservations but, if we were going again, would definitely make this request -- the best of both worlds!

Hey Harriet, My Honey-bunny and I ate at the Mon Ami Gabi a few weeks ago. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there twice during our one week stay. The outdoor patio wasn't crowded at all. We had our pick of tables. I agree, the view of the fountains was just beautiful. I wish I had a plate of those fries right now. Hey Lu, you've gotta try it, I don't think that you'll be disappointed.

Thanks for the information, we're definitely going to Mon Ami - great reviews on www.lvol.com.

Lu, You can be seated outside at Olives - in Bellagio. Beautiful view of the fountains.

Try the Border Grill at Mandalay Bay. The "Two Hot Tamales" chefs did the menu of Tex-Mex with a modern twist. Sangrias are good, as is any of the cocktails from the Tequila menu. Food is good too. You can either sit inside or out; the outdoor seating is near the tropical pool area.

Besides Mona Mi Gabi, we like Olives at Bellagio. You can eat on the patio without reservations. Another good place is at the Fashion Mall, Sfuzzi. Great Italian food.
