Dominic, great website, too bad my work day is almost over, I could've spent the whole day browsing!

From what I saw: Fodor's website is not on your reference list

And we have padlocks "TSA approved" with a diamond stamp on them, these are allowed to use, they will lock your suitcase after inspection.

I am blown away by the length of your trip and number of places you were able to visit! Many Americans don't see this in a lifetime... It makes me want to take my kids to many more places than they have already seen, there is just not enough time or money!
Your report will inspire many to plan that one big trip...I enjoyed it.

Excellent website. Lots of good information shared. Started reading this morning and finished tonight.

Being British I laughed when I read your comment about it is not possible to get a decent cup of tea due to warm water being used instead of boiling. That is so true and I quickly learned to order coffee.

Your flight on Ted from Orlando to DC sounded terrible. I am not sure I would have stayed aboard. Did you follow through after you got back home and did you receive any compensation?

I'd also like to hear about jet lag and how you dealt with it after such a long flight from Australia.

Sandy,

No, we never got anything from Ted, apart from a corporate 'form letter' response. I've updated the 'Flight with Ted' section to reflect this outcome.

I've also added a few more sections under 'Miscellaneous Ramblings', in response to questions you and others asked about jet lag, how we were able to take the kids out of school so long, how we tried to keep them amused on our long trip, etc
