I guess I wasn't very articulate. Let me clarify what I believe:
1. Yes, this attack was against the entire U.S., and not just DC and NYC.
2. I have cried and mourned for those who were killed and for their families, even though I knew none personally. My heart does go out to them.
3. What I am trying to say, and maybe I was too harsh, is I didn't personally suffer like those who died. I feel for them, but it is presumptous of me to think I can really understand their loss.
4. I don't have much sympathy for those who complain about jet noise or having to chanage a vacation. If that is all you have to worry about, then you are truly fortunate. And on that note, I will hope I have made my point.

Delphine-You did articulate your post much better in your second posting. I compare the loss of lives to losing a loved one only 10x worse. God bless all of you and God Bless the USA!
