There are several shops along the main street in Osterville. Claire Murray for hooked rugs and gift items, The Shoe Salon for lovely shoes, Mulberry Corners and Mark, Fore & Strike for clothing, Birdsey Art Gallery and others I can't remember. It is a lovely village and small enough to cover in an hour or two.
Continue down Main Street (toward Centerville) go through the light and just on your left is Four Seas ice cream. Straight out of the 50's with the best home made ice cream. I suggest the fruit flavors (made with real fresh fruit) or ginger if you a fan of ginger.

Here are a few other shops in Osterville: Books By The Sea - Bookstore, Pocket Full of Posies - Children's Shop, Oak & Ivory - Fine Arts & Crafts, Oyster Island Emporium - Gift Shop.
When you leave Four Seas take a right at that same light light and visit the 1856 Store just a few blocks down the road.
