Hi we are staying at WDW in mid April and hope to do a little shopping. Where is the closest/best ski outlet shop, how do we get there and how long does it take to travel from WDW Boardwalk?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Kinda like asking for the best surfboard maker in Nebraska....

There's a Sports Authority that might stock snow skiing equipment, but it doesn't seem likely. Or do you mean water skiing...?

Florida has more ski clubs than any other state, so looking for a ski outlet isn't at all farfetched.

But we still don't know if fiona is looking for a lake, a hill, or a lake with a hill..

OK, so its snow stuff and I totally agree Florida and snow is not really together. But... we are travelling from New Zealand and I noticed the prices for some ski gear, especially boots, are close to a third of the price they are here (and thats after calculating the exchange rate).
And i found one store at Altamonte Springs (the spelling may not be spot on) but think this is several hours away from WDW and maybe too far to travel. Anyway thanks for the interest and any helpful comments.
