Orlando Florida
Thanks for all of you who responded about what to see outside Orlando but now I am asking about the Disney attractions.
I have not been to Orlando in more than 20 years and it seems that animal Kingdom will be great for an adult and also seeing again Magic Kingdom.
As I have been already (20 years ago) to Sea World, Epcot and Hollywood studios, I feel I can skip them this time (unless some of you think otherwise) .They are tiring and expensive. If any of you who is familiar with these sites and feel that they are not to be missed, please let me know.
Also any suggestion for buying tickets to these sites, what are the most economical ways?
(is it hopping in 2 places during the day or spending a whole day in one?.)
where one can buy the discounted tickets?

Disney doesn't have discount tickets, unless you are a Florida resident. They do have some park hopper options http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets-passes/
If you decide to do them both in one day, the Animal Kingdom closes early so I would go there first.

Disney does not discount run from anyone offering them almost always scams. Animal Kingdom Lodge and Park my fav last.
Epcot before that underwhelming nothing new. Magic Kingdom the same. Parkhopper pass offers best value over several days
though quite high.
The very lat time I was there I stayed for $30 priceline.com bid per nite and the Royal Plaza and visited downtown Disney Lake Buena Vista area it was free and had a tonne of great disney stuff to see.

Soaring, a new attraction at EPCOT since your previous visit is the best ride at Disney. Worth visiting EPCOT if just to do Soaring.
Animal Kingdom is worth a visit. If you are an early person, arriving first thing to catch the animals active before the heat of the day has merit.
You do save money purchasing Disney room and ticket packages. AAA provides some ticket discount. In general, the discounts are minimal, if you are going to go, you are going to pay. There is no economical visit to Disney.
I echo the OPs, if you find a great discount, run away. You are getting scammed.

Hollywood Studios has greatly expanded since you were there 20 years ago with a Toy Story ride (which is a lot of fun!) Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster and Fantasmic; however, I think it's the least interesting Disney park.
Animal Kingdom would be completely new to you and has a lot to offer. As stumpworks says, go early to have the best opportunity to see animals. If you go, don't miss the Festival of the Lion King show.
