I have noticed that several people have mentioned on this forum that the original cast of "The Producers" would be returning. Is this a rumor or has a date for their return been set? I am planning a trip to New York again in 04 and I would love to see the play with the original cast.

they will be returning from December 30 through April 4. I think they're mostly sold out already--last I checked they had some seats for the December 31 show at about $600 per ticket.

Those tickets disappeared faster than a set of rims at a P.Diddy concert.

I just went into the box office this weekend and got tix for Thursday, March 11th- front row of the mezzanine, though I think they are off to one side. So they are not COMPLETELY sold out.

Most tix at this point are SRO.

Suzanne, Sabrina was asking about the play with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. I think their run is only for a very short time.

I spoke out of turn. They are appearing in the play until April 4th.

We wanted to make sure we got to see Lane & Broderick...glad we stopped in at the box office!

The Telecharge site has a notice that says there are still tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday performances. You might have luck at other times if you are looking for a single seat. We saw the show last Friday and, while Broderick and Lane no doubt add star power, the show is well worth seeing even without them.
