Online Skiing Vacations

Do a web search on ski vacations and you'll get a list of tours operators that book different resorts throughout the country. Or do a search for the specific resort and you'll probably get a URL for central reservations. Either way, they should be able to book your lodging, air & ground transport and tickets.

We join the World Ski Association (www.worldski.com) to get their discounts. They list packages as well. We once booked through Vacations, Inc. and once through Delta Airline's Dream Vacations (both have info online). Unless we don't plan a Saturday night stay, I usually find better prices piecing the ski trip together myself rather than buying a package.

Last year I was doing a lot of online pricing for ski areas. I found that most of the ski areas had their own webpages with special packages (lift tickets + condo, etc).
2 sites that I used were
www.snow.com (4 Front range resorts in CO) and
www.snowcountry.com
I wish I could remember the name of the 3rd site. It had listings of ski resorts from US and Canada and their websites and snow reports linked together.

Last year I spent a lot of time online researching ski vacations. I can recommend several sites:
I actually booked through www.skimoguls.com There were several other companies, but I didn't keep track of them. Good information can be found at:
www.mountainzone.com
www.skinet.com
www.skiutah.com
www.iski.com
www.skicentral.com
www.greatoutdoors.com
I'd suggest that you use a tour operator that is a member of SkiTOps (Ski Tour Operators) - see www.skitops.com for a listing.
Also, you may want to post at skinet.com
If you've got specific questions about any resorts, send me a note.

If you want to ski at Lake Louise, Sunshine and Mt. Norquay in Banff, Alberta, Canada, go to www.skilouise.com. We booked through them last year and they have terrific rates for hotels, skiing, rental cars, etc.
