Online Auction Experiences

I've noticed good deals on eBay and uBid.com.
Anyone have any tales to tell ?

Thanks

NEVER bid on travel items on these sites. It's way too variable.

I have gotten some great deals on ebay and have never had a bad experience. I do not bid on travel items though.

I've never bid on travel items, eitehr -- but I would assume that as with knicknacks it all depends on the feedback history of the seller.

I've never had a bad experience buying things (never travel, though) on eBay and Yahoo auctions. I'm also pleased with Priceline for hotel rooms.
