One day for Mt. Rainier

We will have one full day, dawn to dusk, to visit Mount Rainier. If we only have time for one or two hikes (and we stick to easy/moderate with 3 or less miles round trip for each), does anyone have a suggestion as to which will give us the best experience in August? Or will we see more if we just drive to overlooks and visitor centers?

I've never hiked there, but this may give you some ideas while others are formulating their thoughts: https://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvis...nt-rainier.htm
