I've done that drive a few times.
My suggestion is to get plenty of caffeinated beverages and don't veer off the interstates. Overall northern Indiana and Ohio are quite boring.
Cleveland offers some diversions.
If it's a leisure trip and you have time there may be some sidetrips to take.
To me it's 'drive thru' country.

The above poster is half right, while there are several diversions, there are many wonderful things to experience in Cleveland.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is wonderful. Next door is the aclaimed Science Center. Both are on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie. A short distance away you will find University Circle which houses a myriad of fine museums.
If The Tribe is in town, you can catch a game at beautiful Jacobs Field, if you can get tickets. The world aclaimed 'best band in the Land', and second in the world (according to Time Magazine) often plays at Blossum Music, an outdoor venue.
Then there's Cedar Point amusement park, about an hour west of Cleveland, named the World's Best by Roller Coaster Magazine. Do a search here for more specifics.
Then theres Milan, just south of Cedar Point, the birthplace of Thomas A. Edison. There you may tour his home and also stroll thru the quaint towne square of shoppes.
Drive another 1/2 hour west to the town of Fremont, Ohio and tour President Rutherford B. Hayes Home and Library.
By the way, all the above mentioned attracions are 'star' rated as a 'GEM' by the AAA.
I can go on if you'd like.....enjoy your trip!

If you have time you can drive into Toledo and go to Tony Packo's on Front Street for a couple of chili dogs. It's less than 1/2 hour north of the Ohio Turnpike. Packo's was mentioned many times in some of the old Mash television episodes, great food.
