Ohio in April
My husband and I are thinking about taking our 13 and 14 year old sons to Cleveland on April vacation. We will be driving and would like to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We will also stop at the Football Hall of Fame at some point. I know that there are some big amusement parks in OH but am wondering if there is enough to do in the Cleveland area to fill up 3 or 4 days. They are into music, arcades, restaurants like the Hard Rock or Dave and Buster's etc. Also would it make more sense to stay in Cleveland proper or the environs keeping in mind we have a car and don't mind driving?
Thanks, Sharon

You would love Cedar Point but it's not open until May, could you wait until then? The R&R Hall of Fame would be opened as would the Football Hall of Fame but the Football Hall of Fame is in Canton which is 40mile south of Cleveland on I77.
I am not sure when the Goodtime 1 is in service, probably also May, but you would love the day adventure from Sandusky to Kelly's Island and Put-in-bay. The boat spends 2 hrs on Kellys and 3 on Put-in-bay. Great fun, as you rent a golf cart on both and tour on your own. http://consumer.discoverohio.com/sea...x?detail=45290

Thank you both for the advice. Unfortunately we have to go in April. How is the Science Museum? Are there any great bowling alleys or arcade type venues? Maybe we could catch a concert. I will be researching but wanted a local's point of view.

We enjoyed the Science Museum but to be truthful, they had a special exhibit that made it special for us. I would recommend the House of Blues: http://www.hob.com/tickets/searchres...007&venid=1853 if anything of interest there. also, we have not been but our daughter has considered : http://search.cityguide.aol.com/clev...v-191485/print for her family.
