Ogonquit, Pemaquid or Boothbay Harbor

I want to spent a few days on the coast of Maine. I have already been to Acadia so I narrowed it down to Ogonquit, Pemaquid or Boothbay Harbor. I am looking for something romantic but with things to do. Any suggestions?

I don't think there's much to do in the Pemaquid area, and depending on the time of year Ogunquit can be very trafficky and crowded.

Boothbay Harbor for me! The Ice Cream Factory is enough to get me there!

Ogunquit was boring and very crowded. So far, it was the only place in Maine that we didn't like. Boothbay was great - lots more to do and outstanding restaurants.

Ogunquit - Nicest Beaches by far
Pemmiquid - Quietest, most scenic
Boothbay - Most charming town

take your pick - I love them all!

Thanks for all the responses! We are going the third week in June, so I don't expect too big a crowd as the season still isn't in full swing. Any hotel/ resturant suggestions for Boothbay Harbor?
