I want to get a gift certificate or two for clients that are moving to the west side of Oahu. I used to love Roy's, is that still good? I can either go with one big gift card, or 2 smaller ones - maybe one nicer place, and one casual? Thanks.

Alan Wong's would be my suggestion, either location:

When you say west side, I'm guessing you mean Kapolei, Kunia, or Makakilo.

There is a Roys in the west side, as well as Hawaii Kai and Waikiki, so that might be nice. The west side is a long way from Waikiki or downtown Honolulu. People from there definitely come into town, but it might be nice to get them a GC for a place that doesn't involve a 45 minute ride home.

Here is a list of 86 more places to eat out in Kapolei.

You could also get them a GC for Ihilani Resort. They could use it for a massage, meal or even a hotel room!

Check these out, seems to be around $15 to $20 entree.
