NYE in NOLA

Hey All,
My fiance and I will be spending NYE in the beautiful city of New Orleans (with another couple). We've all been down several times and are looking for something a little off-beat to do. I am not really interested in going to the Jax Brewery shindig. We are in our mid 30's but we can still party like 21 year olds. We are staying just outside of the Quarter and will not have a car. Any Suggestions? \Thanks,
Kim

Bourbon Street is crazy for New Years eve, and I expect lots of rowdy Univ of Georgia fans this year as well since the Sugar Bowl is Jan. 1.

The streets are crowded throughout the Quarter leading up to fireworks and then for an hour or two thereafter.

Have fun!

I would visit the House of blues Website and see who will be there that night. Could be fun!
