NYC towncar advice needed
I want to get tickets to a concert in NYC for my parents as an anniversary gift. Unfortunately the concert is on a weekday afternoon, so I can't drive them. They're in their 80's and would have trouble getting into Manhattan on their own. I'd like to order a towncar for them to take them from their home in the Riverdale section of the Bronx to Lincoln Center and back home after the concert.
Can anyone recommend a towncar service? I want to make it as easy as possible for them, and the last time I used a towncar, was years ago. Any suggestions for a reliable towncar that I can reserve without a corporate account would be most welcomed. Thanks.

Allstate is OK - http://www.allstatelimo.com/ Carmel is OK - http://www.carmellimo.com/
Dial 7 is ok - http://www.dial7.com/
In my experience they are all OK, until they are not - that is, eventually a car service screws up and you switch to another, which seems fine for a while and then you go on to another.
During this last snow storm, both Carmel and Allstate came through for me,soI'll use them for a bit . . .

Any of those mp shows.
Call, make the reservation.
They'll pick-up, drive them into the City.
Wait somewhere till your folks ready to return to Riverdale.
They'll charge for the trip from pick-up, waiting, return - 5 to 6/hrs for a flat fee. Tips and tolls (bridge/tunnel, if any) are extra.
Some of the above may have discount coupons on their sites, so check. Or check those ValPac envelopes you receive which often have coupons from these car services. Check the small print as some discounts can't be used all hours (i.e., during rush hours).
