NYC to Quebec

Hi, hubby and I will be driving from NYC to Quebec City for a long weekend getaway. Can anyone please recommend a place to stopover for 1 night in between the 2 cities?

Lake George, the Sagamore.
We have done it a few times, it is half way to Montreal. Look at their site.
