NYC for a day

My husband and I will be in NYC July 9-10 (exactly 24 hours before going to New Jersey for a wedding). What do we do w/ so little time? We have done Statue of Liberty already.

You don't know enough about NYC to pick a couple of things you are interested in? Go to a museum, walk around Central Park, see a play, hang out in Greenwich Village, etc., etc., etc.

If you're determined, you can see several things in one day. What are you interested in; what length day do you want to put in? Give us some info and I'm sure you'll get many great suggestions.

We would love to go to Central Park and have lunch/dinner in Little Italy. Where do you suggest we go?

Little Italy is no longer an Italian community. Good Italian food can be found elsewhere.

Not Little Italy - not great food, touristy! We do have great Italian restaurants throughout Manhattan. What's your price range?

The park is beautiful and there are plenty of shady spots to get out of the sun if it's very hot. Wear sneakers if you really want to walk (which I wholeheartedly suggest).
