North Shore lodging

I'm looking for lodging for two couples on the north shore of Oahu in November. We'd prefer a cottage or house rental. Any suggestions? Has anyone stayed at Kei Ki Beach Bungalows or Ko 'Olani Kai? Thanks.

I am looking into Keiki Bungalows also. They seem pretty rustic, and the cleaning fees are pretty steep. Has anyone stayed here?

There are a few older posts about Ke Iki. Do a search using Ke Iki Bungalows in the search window. There is one poster in particular that likes them a lot.

Aloha Nat & Orderby,

I love, love, love this place.

It all depends upon what you're looking for. The price really isn't out of line when you consider the location... this property has a million dollar view.

More details in my trip report if your interested...

Aloha and happy planning... also if you're interested, much of the movie "The Big Bounce" was filmed at Ke Iki... check it out... the movie wasn't the best, but the scenery was all about north shore, O'ahu! ><

Nat,

ps. Nov on the north shore is great for watching some of the best surfing action you'll ever see... the Triple Crown of surfing goes on @ Sunset Beach, Waimea and Pipeline in Nov/Dec... it really is facinating to watch... what a treat, don't miss it.

Check out www.vrbo.com listing #15735. My husband & I stayed next door to this particular home, ours was a 2bd/1bth, this one has 3bd. Both homes are right on the beach, we went to sleep w/the sound of the waves and awoke each morning to the same sound and a beautiful view. Our home had an enclosed h/c shower outside, it was awesome to wake up and shower outside w/the sound of the waves. I didn't see a listing for the home we rented. But if really interested email me and I can give you the landlords email. We met the family renting the house next door, we even snorkeled @ Turtle Bay and bbq'd w/them at our rental homes. We plan to rent there again in the near future. These homes are on Ke lki Beach.

We stayed in a SeaLodge condo in Princeville. It was great. We had a view from our bedroom, living room, and balcony... of the ocean. (the place is up on a cliff). Kai-Nani #G-2
