Hey Mocha, haven't seen anymore posts from you here, but I've been following your bids on BFT. Have you tried staying at the Hyatt Pier 66? It's a very nice hotel and you won't be disappointed. I don't know much about Ireland Inn, but it's ON the beach and very close to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.
I'd suggest getting a refundable room somewhere and then keep trying to bid on rooms. I doubt you'll get the Marriott Harbor Beach, but you might be surprised at the last minute if you get Pier 66 for a good price. I think I've figured out what these hotels do. They must alot rooms a long time in advance and then pull them when regular reservations come in. Then if they don't sell them all, they put them back for bidding at the last minute. I might be wrong, but if I owned a popular hotel that's how I'd do it. Also, March & April are prime vacation times in Lauderdale, so the rooms go fast and for mucho bucks.
I'll check out expedia to see if they have anything decent for your extra days.

Check out EXPEDIA.COM, they have the Radisson Bahia Mar on the dates you are looking for and it's $130/standard view or $148/ocean view. However, this is for booking in advance (the prices they slashed through were $186 & $212.) The cheaper rates are good for this hotel. Expedia showed Harbor Beach as having no rooms available, so that probably won't show up on PCLN.
Just wanted to give you this info in case you want to get this hotel for a good rate. I like the ocean/marina views. However, all views are probably decent to great at this hotel.
