That was fun seeing the pictures and it looked like you had a great time. You set it up well one big table. ours was three so I never really got to know a few.
Thanks for posting. Next time, no masks

Budman-Great party!

Trish-Terrific pictures. I tried to give my DH the blue oval (he he), but he wouldn't take it.

The great thing about going to a public place to meet people is that you can always leave if you are ubcomfortable. Oddly enough no one left and in fact we were there for at least four hours. I think many of us traveled well over an hour to get there. But the award for traveling the farthest goes to Tracy, who came from South Africa. (Happy traveling Tracy and Hennie!)

The food was was sooo good.

And yes, we did talk about you other Fodorites and whether we should crash the Yountville party.

Great fun. Can't wait until the next GTG.

Nice job, Trish! The pics came out great! Thanks for writing it up...

And Budman, thanks again for hosting - it was great to get the chance to talk to you and your lovely wife.

Wow - what a fun affair. Great food, great wine, great people - I really enjoyed meeting the jerseys, hunnynm and her cutie, Trish and her cutie, auntgrapes (we WILL get together post-holiday!), hardcore tracy_in_sa and hennie, and fab, fun rhea. A blast. I'm sorry I missed the limoncello!

And the blue ovals are our little secret! Heh heh heh...

Thanks for the report, Trish. Sounds like it was a fabulous GTG. The food and wine looks scrumptious and it seems the company was lovely, too. The mask concept is hilarious. Very clever!

Glad you all had a great time together. Perhaps I will be in NYC for a GTG one of these days since I go every spring.

R5 That lush in the back row is my DH!!

Scarlett, hope we didn't traumatize you too much with your old memories of "the masks".

Jersey, DH broke our blue pill before we even left Paula's!

lcuy, Budman is a handsome guy, even in a pink mask!

Unmasked, you ask? Hmm...

Kal, is the rumor true that you're coming to the East Coast next spring?

Maybe you can come to our next GTG!!

We'd love to have you and Rhea said something about you bringing a friend "Thomas Keller"??

Be careful what you wish for!!!!!
We just may be there!
The Kals are here: O

We were penciling in our 2005
travel schedule and had planned on being in NYC maybe starting on Thursday, May 19th for Mrs Kal's b'day "mulligan".
It depends when the NYC Roadrunners have the May 10k thru CentPark.

I only wish I could afford to "meet" Thos. Keller at the Fr Laundry!

Auntgrapes, I got you down on my list. I bet you look cute in a grass skirt.

Jocelyn_P, unveiling? Whatever do you mean?
