blueslipper - don't know if you're back or not but the development I was thinking of is called Grand Pointe. We just got back from Easter visit and it's about 5 mi south of town (further than I thought). While the houses look nice, I'd forgotten there aren't many trees around - was probably a farm before the development. Not sure if this fits your desires or not.

There is also a very nice new development between Granville and Heath that looks a little more upscale but is a beautiful hilly area.
