This is not an answer to this (old) post, but an attempt to reach henryandcasper!
I do hope you find it, as I'm wanting to hear more about your trip - 05? - that you took. The part that I'm most interested in is Istanbul to Puglia.
You may have changed your itinerary some since I first read that post. I have read one of your short reviews where you mention Istanbul but the next enry is the Amalfi Coast!
If you did travel from Istanbul to Puglia, could you just post how you did it? We may do the reverse.
Thanks!

My husband and I just went to Long Beach Island and stayed at a hotel called Daddy O. It's on the Jersey Shore and took us less than 2 hours to drive. They hotel even gives you beach chairs and towels to go to the beach. And it has it's own restaurant in the hotel with excellent food. It's quite a hip hotel. I recommend the Gables which is about 5 minutes away by car for a really romantic getaway.
