New York Threats

How is the morale in NY?? There have been lots of coverage on more possible terrorist activity over the holiday weekend. How are NY'ers doing?? My hope would be that tourism is still going strong, and the natives of NY would not let this affect them too much, but show the terrorists that they cannot take away our freedom. Know that our prayers are with New York.. Anyone??

Don't think like that. It will only make them more determined to prove us wrong.

I'm not from NYC, but from what I have read here on this site, everything is business as usual in NYC. Life goes on and the people of NYC just want to get back to living.

Morale is fine.
New Yorkers are just the same.
There are a lot of tourists here.
It is Fleet Week, the streets are full of sailors and sightseers.
The weather is fabulous.
Come visit,Thank you for your good thoughts.

Thanks for your concern Ellie! From what I've seen, everything is normal - many are out in the Hamptons this weekend, ready to kick off another beautiful summer....
