We had the calamari and zucchini appetizer and both were perfectly tender. A culinary feat.
There was a party in the back room, so the noise in the front room made conversation almost impossible, which was not so bad considering the discussions.
We wife had their mac and cheese which she loved; it seemed to be a blend of three cheeses. I had the roasted rosemary chicken which was done to a turn with a paltry side of mashed potatoes. Our host had the veal special, that was just a shade above average and his significant other was as loony as a tune.
Surprsingly, the bread and the focaccia were a bit stale, they must have cut them far too early.
We shared a pate of assorted biscotti which were flavorful.
The crowd started off grey and hunched over and staightned up as the evening wore on.
