I do agree that regular buses come more frequently than tour buses but first timers usually like the tour buses for the commentary--when the guide is good. If your guide is not good, get off, see something and, when you reboard, you may get someone better. My experience with Grayline last week was that 3 out of 4 were excellent. The other one was not. While I was familiar with NYC, I was on an industry tour for tour directors, so we were using the commentary on the Grayline to help us learn what we needed to learn for the test. We all passed.
