We (2 couples aged 28-33) are coming down for New Years Eve. Do we need to make resevations for bars/parties? Can you recommend some good places. We like to dance, but not like a group of "20 year olds" (not that that's bad), we drink alot, we would like to have a table to sit at, we don't like crowds that you can't move in. We are looking for something "different".

And you'd be going...where?

I go to Key West often and grew up in So. Fla. but I'm a bit "out of the loop" on the happening scene. Sorry.

I'm sorry, I thought I posted in the Louisianna Forum. We'll be going to New Orleans for New Years Eve. I was looking for suggestions for New Years in New Orleans.

I did just return from Key West and had a wonderful time, in part, based on all the great advice on this site.

Just so you know, there's only one United States forum, no state forums. When you post and you click on a state, that's only for indexing later to allow state-specific searches. No matter what state you choose now though, everything goes to the US board and readers have no way of knowing what state you entered.

Consider reposting with a title like "New Year's Eve in New Orleans", you will get more responses!
