I stand corrected........BWHAHHAHAH!!!
Aren't you about ready to leave? I love MSY airport - there's nothing better than getting off the plane and hearing zydeco/cajun music and smelling their foods.
I'm chomping at the bit for you!

Visited New Orleans and had a great time. We did book the Taste Bud tour and enjoyed it, though it wasn't gourmet tastes. We did get a good feel for the regional specialities and learned some good history and tips. One tip is that Antoine's has a great lunch deal weekdays- a price fixe at $20.13 for 3 courses and lovely choices. We had a great lunch there. Also, K-Paul's has a good lunch special, didn't eat there but considered it. Again, weekdays only.

Iceeu2, I booked a NO Cooking School lunch session for myself for the day I m alone in NO before my friend arrives to spend time w me and go to Jazz fest at end of this month. Thank you so much for the info! Menu is different than your day (corn and crab bisque, a shrimp dish, pralines, and another dessert) with Anita beer, and I found a $3 coupon code online so it was $26. Looking forward to this!
