New Orleans Sunday Brunch

We're looking for suggestions for Sunday Brunch this April 30th in New Orleans. We have already been to Brennans and Commanders Palace. Looking for a non-touristy, nice location. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Tracy, I love Mr. B's Bistro's jazz trio brunch on Sundays. It's a Brenann's-owned restaurant that has good food, good service, and a good Quarter location!

The Wyndam (formerly the Westin) has the best Sunday Brunch and I have been to them all. The view is awesome, the food great, the ambiance second to none, and the live Jazz band completes the experience! This place has such a relaxing atmosphere...We have spent over 3 hours in there luling over conversation etc.
Make reservations ASAP
If you wany anymore pointers...e-mail me.

I second Mr. B's, though I doubt there's any such thing as a non-touristy restaurant in New Orleans. Since most of us go there (at least in part) for wonderful food, the word gets around pretty fast! I know a native of New Orleans who swears by the Sunday buffet at Royal Sonesta, and though I've stayed there, I've never eaten the buffet. One other thought - Galatoire's is very popular with locals, so you might give that a try. No other food could be THAT good!

If you want a non-touristy brunch, go to Feelings on Chartres in the Marigny. It's a quiet, funky, off-the-beaten path place that you wouldn't ordinarily run across on travels to New Orleans. It's also a LOT less expensive than any of the places you mentioned. I live in the Quarter, so let me know if you have any other questions. Hope you have a great trip.

Try the Cafe Sbisa. We had a great brunch there.
