My sister and I are going to NO for the first time April 6th. We are looking forward to swamp tours and plantations. We would really like to see some things outside of the FQ, although we are looking forward to checking that out too. It sounds like an awesome place!

GO!!! we are fellow n. calif. people (sackamenna) and were big sf restaurant fans until we went to "nola"...we went for the first time about 6 years ago w/ a group of 49er fans and have been back every year since for the game. best restaurants, mothers (best po' boys in town-ferdi's special w/ "debris"),nola (an emeril lagasse rest. in the quarter) tujaque's ("two-jacks"), across from cafe dumonde, k-pal's (paul prudhomme), petunia's (for breakfast), felix's oyster bar, maximos and the best of all, lucky dogs ! hit tipitina's now in the qtr for some good tunes...harry connick SR plays every monday.... let the good times roll!
