I am so jealous - I love Lush products! I visited a store while in London last year and fell in love with the products. Unfortunately I'm not holding my breath for St. Louis to get one anytime soon, since we seem to be the last (if ever) to get anything! Enjoy!

I order online a lot too... just placed an order this morning because the Christmas products are 30% off and you get 2 free bars of soap with a 50.00 purchase.
HOWEVER... shipping is steep, like 10.00 up, and unless you are familiar with their products you might be disappointed with many products.
Nothing like a live store to try things out. I have favorites now and order those online whenever I run out.
Before Christmas I placed an online order and went ahead and tried 4 new things. I had to return all 4 items because of the scent.
The natural ingredients mean that they smell different than what you may be used to. Real coconut smells way different than synthetic coconut (and far better, BTW)
Anyhoo... my point is that you get screwed on returns when you order online. You have to pay to get the products and pay to return it.
If there is no hope that you can get to a store be sure to read the reviews of the products below the descriptions online. Lush is wonderful about printing the good, bad and ugly comments.
You MUST try Lush... my favorite stuff:
Sympathy for the Skin
King of Skin
Karma Ballistic
Karma Soap
Middle Earth Soap
ALL the Solid Shampoos and Coolaulin conditioner!

Yeah, I've bought online in the past. The shipping used to be extremely high because everything was shipped from Canada so I avoided it. Is the shipping cheaper at all or is it still really expensive?

I think I'm the only one that dislikes the smells of the lush products. I prefer the lÓccitaine that's a few blocks down, opposite side of Newbury Street.

My new favorite L'Occitaine is a Honey body and hair wash..smells sooo good, a sort of soothing scent.

Lush can be too sweet and overpowering, I like the Karma too! Love the Shiney Solid Shampoo! Great for travel!!

I went through a L'Occitane phase, too... I bought it many years ago in Paris and mail ordered it until it came to the US. My preferred customer number is below 25. I think they are up to 5 digits now!
I am a Honey freak, too!
Lush made a bath gel that smelled just like pure honey called Never 2 Busy to be Beautiful. The L'occitane gel is so expensive, I stretch it out with the Lush product. I also have the L'occitane fragrance water, the lotion and I LOVE the honey face cream.
I have found the Perlier Honey products similar in quality, too. Often, they can be found for a fraction of the cost at Marshall's and TJ Maxx.
So, this is my obsession. I have a pantry full of bath products.
Favorite colognes at this moment are:
Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Vanilla Apricot, Amour De Cocoa and Vanilla Passion Fruit (the labels are French)
And my latest fave... Fresh Sugar
Oh my...

www.bluemercury.com sells it.
I get most of mine on eBay. There's a guy in Montreal that sells it at a discount.

After the discussions here about the Lush products, I went to the one in Cardiff, Wales. You could smell the shop before you could see it! I got a bath bomb, but have yet to take a bath (no, I shower!). I also got some Arabian Brights henna for my hair. I am not sure I am using it right, and have put it on both before I wet my hair, and after I wet it. SInce my hair's so dark, it's hard to tell a difference.

Cool store, though. Just hope they don't over-do it.

I'll have to hit Georgetown one of these weekends. My big bottle of Potion is almost gone (a terrific body lotion that smells like carnations and spice) mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
