New Jersey Shore-long beach island
Has anyone ever stayed at Hurley's at Holgate on Long Beach Island? We're just looking for basic clean rooms close to the beach.

I haven't, but must warn you about flies in Holgate. For whatever reason they are terrible in the summer...so I'd stay out of Holgate. Beach Haven B&Bs and motels are a better alternative.

Are you referring to "green heads." t
They are ever so nasty. I think when the winds blow in a certain direction from the land they are around. Just depends on the winds. Some locations are worse than others. Good luck.
