New improved Rants & Raves page

In all the hubbub over some of the more controversial recent changes on this site, I'm not sure how many people noticed the new and improved Rants & Raves page. They reorganized it, made it easier to use, and added some new destinations. Unfortunately it looks like you still can't rate other hotels/restaurants that are not on their list, but overall the page is definitely better than it used to be, because now you can see all the "rants and raves" destinations at once. It would be better if more people would contribute though! Go to http://www.fodors.com/rants/

Agreed and agreed! I actually have used that area for my own travel, as well having raved and ranted myself. I'm glad so many people have responded to it, but, given the popularity of this site, it seems there should be many more ratings than currently appear.

Okay, call me a grinch. My two favorite (and most frequent) travel destinations are New Orleans and Key West. Yes, we go other places, but not as often. But in order for me to access messages about these two places, I have to go to 6 separate Fodor's sites. The United States message board, the Florida message board, and Rants and Raves for both restaurants and hotels in those two places. As much as I love Fodor's...this is way too much. I opt for consolidation.

I would love to contribute to the rants and raves, but this part of the board eats postings even more than the main forums! Two I tried to post yesterday are not there, even though I got the "you have successfully...etc" message after posting. Just tried to post about a Mexico City hotel, and the screen froze.

OK, Fodor's editors: sounds like you've got a problem with the Rants & Raves page eating posts.
