No...that was Kenny. ;-)
138 days until we return for these two events:
http://www.hanaleicanoeclub.org/pages/haena_run.php
And the following day if I survive: http://www.tasteofhawaii.com/
Both are VERY good events and well-run so if you are planning a June trip I'd suggest this week.

In 24 hours we will be in the air on our way to the lovely island of Hawaii!!! Our 25th trip there--and for 4 weeks! It's snowing in Denver now -- a foot of new snow at our house this morning so can't wait to be immersed in the soft, fragrant air of the islands.

louistraveler - I can't wait! I'm so over these sub-zero temperatures in the northeast.
I must admit I have done very little research for this trip...I'm going to read over yours and everyone else's trip reports and get some ideas!

I just got back from 10 beautiful days in Maui.
Gorgeous sunsets, best whale watch ever with Pacific Whale Foundation, Haleakela for sunrise, lazy days in the sun while home was hit by yet another snowstorm and swimming in the ocean with the turtles and fish.
I had to be dragged to the airport and I'm already missing the papaya not to mention the ahi poke, cocktails and lilikoi.
Time to plan another trip!
