Need uptown place for drinks, minors allowed in NYC (near 58th & Madison)

I know I've asked this question before and I thought I had a plan in place but now our after-dinner drinks plan has changed.

I'm going to NY in August with my sisters and my nieces, one of whom is 12. We'll be joining other family members for dinner on the Sunday night and there are two teenagers in that group. We're having dinner at Tao at 58th and Madison and because we're a large group and it's noisy in the restaurant, we were hoping to go to a quieter lounge after dinner for drinks and gabbing. We need a place where the adults can have drinks but they'll allow (non-drinking) minors in as well.

Any suggestions? Quiet (ish) lounge, within a short walk of the restaurant. I'll email places to see if we can bring the kids if you just give me names.
Thanks
gtg

Why not the Plaza?

Upstairs? The Palm Court? Is she too old for the Eloise menu? Does she know about Eloise? Surely she knows about Home Alone.

Maybe something in the Todd English Food Hall?

Thanks, starrs, I'll keep that in mind but it also just occurred to me that the Four Seasons is right near there so I'm going the check with them. One of the adults can't walk very far so the closer, the better.

The Four Seasons would be great.

I fell in love with a little French bakery that might have worked and they had a new place uptown - but it's way out of the way. Also thinking about options near and in the MoMA, but 4S would be fabulous.

Found it! The Four Seasons has a lobby bar, it's practically next door to the restaurant and minors are allowed when accompanied by an adult!

Fab!
