Need information for College Station, Texas

Hello Fodors Friends,
A close friend's husband died yesterday. I would like to send a special food gift (dessert tray or fruit tray) to her home in College Station. Could you suggest a good business to contact for this service?
Thank you.

cmcfong, I am sorry for your loss.
The website below is from the Visitors and Convention Bureau in College Station--I hope it helps. If they can't provide what you're looking for perhaps they'll know of someone who can.

Thank you so much, AnnMarie. He was a wonderful, vibrant man with a marvelous sense of whimsey and humor. A great loss. I will contact the Visitors Center.

cmcfong, what a blessing it is to have people like that touch our lives.

I would try calling the caterers to see if they can help you or if they know of someone who can--I notice several of them have websites. What a wonderful, thoughtful thing to do for someone during a difficult time like this. I hope your friend and her family are okay.

You are such a sweet person to say that, AnnMarie. This is a very special family. I am checking all the businesses. My friend is an incredible wonderful woman and she will be a steady force for her family. She and her husband became pen pals when she was in junior high. She never ever looked at another guy. She married him right out of college and theirs has been a true love story. Heartbreakingly sad.
